Citroën 2CV-A AZ/1 - Puristic charm from the post-war periodThe Citroën 2CV debuted in 1948 as a radically simple, robust people's car and in the following decades became the epitome of French lightweight construction philosophy. The AZ/1 version with its typical headlight structure and the flat comb strip design managed to combine suitability for everyday use and unobtrusive chic. This example, first registered in May 1958, has the original engine - all documents are complete. The body has been freshly painted in classic light blue, the underbody has been rebuilt and all chassis components have been revised: complete brake system, new wheel bearings and an overhauled carburettor ensure absolute reliability. The interior was professionally reupholstered on the original steel frame, the top was replaced as well as all seals. Fresh tires and optional wiring for electric indicators (TÜV-compliant) round off the flawless impression.
