A very rare South African spec Gs X3! So rare in fact, this is the first one that we have seen!
The South African spec Gs’s came with forged lower arms, rather then the traditional pressed welded ones. They also have reinforced front and rear subframes which is very unusual to see!
The car was found in a barn in Bergerac, France. The last owner had promised the car to a gentleman who races GS’s and not only did we have to convince the owner not to let it go racing but we had to pay a pretty penny for it too! It was all well worth it to save it from its pending fate.
The Gs was imported into the Uk and brought straight to us where the car has undergone a full repaint and recommissioning.
This Gs has covered just 29, 000 kilometers, translating to only 18, 000 miles! Being stored in a barn for many years, the structure of the car is excellent, the interior is completely original and in extremely good condition. Being an X3, the ‘sports’ model, it is the only Gs in the range to have a 1. 3 engine, except the GSA’s of course.
