Seller's comments about 1971' Citroen Hy

For sale Citroen V8 H van 1971.A rare opportunity to purchase 1 of only 2 V8 H van. This H van as a rover Vitesse 3. 5 V8 fitted, with a renault, 21 turbo gearbox. Which was used in the Lotus. the previous owner paid to have fitted a new ECU with coil packs fitted, which makes this engine, super reliable. When we purchased it this summer, we drove it back 800 miles from south ofFrance. There is some cosmetic bodywork needs doing, don't all H Van's need it. The worst bit is the N/ S/ R corner. with the van is all the panels you need to repair this Area. We got a quote from a local body shop and it is approximately £800. 00 to weld the new panels and paint.plus it has a new pair of driveshafts.This Citroen H van has been regularly used for the past 15 years. Approximately 10 years ago the engine was fully rebuilt by the same gentleman, who done the conversion.
