The model we are presenting here is one of the last cars to be purchased by Pierre Brignole for his collection. This SM was first registered on 22 April 1971, when it was sold by the Citroën dealership in Libourne, as its original service booklet confirms. Its owner took care to have the car maintained in the official dealer network until it changed hands in 1982 through a dealer in Pessac. Always regularly maintained, the SM left the Bordeaux region in 2003 for the Mediterranean coast near Narbonne. Its third owner carried out mechanical restoration work at significant expense from 2004 to 2011, before selling the car to Pierre Brignole in 2018. With good documentation throughout its history, including its original certificate of conformity with the traditional red diagonal line, this SM has been regularly maintained. Since its arrival in Corsica in 2018, the brake pads have been replaced, as have the radiator hoses, all four tyres, all the carpets and the accumulator sphere for the brakes. The wiring loom was also completely refurbished last April. This SM is now in good running order and deserves to find a new home with another enthusiast.
