I imported this car and have registered it on UK plates.
It is a beautiful low mileage car. Restorations can improve a car dramatically but there is nothing like the genuine low mileage example.
This car was bought new as a daily driver in 1955 and driven for three years. At that point the owner died and his wife kept the car in a heated garage for 30 years. It had covered 20,000 miles. At that point, the car was sold and the new owner used it as a wedding car for the next 30 years and put a further 10,000 miles on the clock. (Hence the 6 cylinder bumpers, hub caps and the white wall tyres.)
The car is now in excellent running condition, stored in a Carcoon and driven regularly when the weather is fine and the roads dry and clean.
