1953' Daimler Conquest

This last category also includes this very unique and beautiful Daimler Conquest MK1 from 1953. This stylish English saloon was produced from 1953 to 1958. It was the successor to the Daimler Consort and the car is based on the Lanchester Fourteen. This Conquest, produced in 1953, is therefore one of the first copies of this model produced.
The car is in very beautiful and fully restored condition. This stylish saloon came to the Netherlands in 1974. In 2008 the car was completely body-off restored and the engine block was completely overhauled. Of course, documentation with photos is available. The interior has also been completely renovated with stylish gray leather upholstery. The woodwork has also been renewed in combination with various chrome and trim parts. In short... the car is in very special and beautiful perfect condition.

What is also special about this car is the unique preselector gearbox. Shifting gears is very easy in this beautiful classic car and driving is surprisingly comfortable. The completely overhauled 2433 cc six-in-line engine runs very quietly and smoothly. The car steers and drives very comfortably. The brakes work well and feel solid. Driving this classic Daimler is amazing and exceptionally wonderful.
