1961' Daimler Majestic Major

I regret to sell my very rare and original Daimler Mjestic Major 4,5 V8 saloon (DQ 450) because now I have very few occasions to drive it.
The car was first registered in Switzerland in April 1961 (it is one of the very first ones made !)
I bought it in 2006 and I am the third owner from new.
Now the car has Italian papers and number plates.
The car has painted in a two tone colour black over metal gun and it matchs with how the JDHT certificate states.
The interior is in grey Connolly leather (the front bench needs a little refurbishing)
The engine is the beautiful original Daimler hemi V8 4563cc with a 220hp output that gives a top speed in the 122mph zone !
There is a metallic sunroof and an hydraulic power-steering.
The car is full original ; body , interior and woods have been never restored !
In these years I have spent a lot of money for mechanical improvements and maintenance (I have all the invoices) : BorgWarner transmission fully overhauled ; Hydrosteer power-steering fully overhauled ; new brake pipes and new brake hydraulic pump ; new electric components ; SU carburettors fully overhauled with new components ; etc. etc.
I have always stored the car in a dry a safe garage and I have used it only for classic car meetings and for short touring trip in the country
I am very sad in thinking to sell it but now I have very few occasions to use it !
