Seller's comments about 1967' Daimler Sovereign 250
Daimler 250 V8, year 1967. Colour Maroon red metallic combined with a Burgundy red leather interior and red carpet. This beautiful Daimler 250 V8 is a very special example. The car is not only a left-hand drive (LHD) model, but the car also features a manually operated gearbox and a fantastic sunroof! We know this car for many years as we have serviced the car for the previous owner. The last owner purchased the Daimler in 2019. He then started improving the Daimler to a higher level of quality. The bodywork was improved, and the car was converted to left hand drive. The RHD dashboard was exchanged, and other wood interior parts were restored. The headlining was renewed. The S.U. Carburettors were overhauled, and hydraulic power-steering was fitted. The car is in a very good condition with some signs of use and age to the interior leather and the exterior chrome parts. Mechanically the automobile is fully up to date. The V8 engine runs beautifully, the gearbox shifts very well, and the exhaust note is fantastic. The car comes with documents, a Daimler Heritage certificate, and the car is fitted with a vintage Blaupunkt radio. Daimler is the Jaguar luxury sister brand, the Daimler 250 V8 is a more luxurious (and much rarer) version of the Jaguar Mk II. This very good left hand drive example with manual gearbox will bring a lot of joy for the new owner!
