Seller's comments about 1973' Daimler Sovereign Series Ii Swb

Very Rare Daimler Sovereign 4.2 Short Wheel Base Finished in Regency Red and Cinnamon Leather.

The car has only covered 45,000 documented miles from New and was part of a private collection which was dissolved following the demise of the collector in 2006.
Restored in 2007, the car required minimal restoration work due to it's dry stored condition requiring very little corrosion repair.

The car was manufactured on 27 August 1973 at the Browns Lane factory and delivered to HW Motors of Thames Ditton in Surrey on 12 September 1973.

This example is chassis number 2M1275BW and was the 174th example of the newly launched Series II Daimler Sovereign to be manufactured and is now an extremely rare surviving example due to its short wheel base.

The car was chosen by Jaguar Heritage in 2009 to represent the model in Jaguar's 75th Anniversary Drive from Coventry to Goodwood and has been featured in Jaguar World Magazine and has won various classic car show trophies.

This car is in Beautiful Condition throughout.
