Tribute to the famous 60's Ferrari 250 GTO, this car has had well over a 1000 hours spent on it and has been restored / recomissioned over the last three years. The doner vehicle is a 1975 RHD UK spec Datsun 260Z. The engine is a standard spec 2. 6 but with the addition of a six branch performance exhaust and a set of triple webbers. Gearbox is the much sought after five speed. Wire wheels have just been freshly powder coated with new tyres and new spinners. The interior has been freshly done in the finest leather with new carpets, headlining, tunnel and rear parcel shelf has been diamond stitched, the quality of this re trim is amazing. The bonnet, boot lid and both door skins are brand new and recently fitted, the colour is Ferrari Blu Genziano. The car is tax and MOT exempt but I will put a new MOT on it for peace of mind. The car has just been rolling road tuned by a well respected tuner, it is lumpy when cold but idles and pulls very well once warmed up. It has a list of new parts that would take too long to list here but bills are in excess of 13K. This is a very rare car that rarely comes up for sale and not to be confused with the smaller out of proportion Mazda MX5 based models, I have spoken to the owner of Scorpian cars who were making the kits here in the UK and he has confirmed it is one of his kits. Originals are out of reach of the average Man/ Woman and run in to many millions. Alloy replicas that are much closer to the originals usually start around the one million mark so this does in my opinion represent good value for money. I have an agreed insurance valuation of 45K. I have recently sold a 240Z and have amassed quite a few spares that could go with the car if needed. I am based in Ferndown just outside of Bournemouth on the South coast.
