More desirable than the more commonplace Pantera, the Longchamp was the father to the equally delectable Maserati Kyalami. This unique example is the Series 1 dated 1978 and believed to be one of 5 original right hand drive of this early marque conforming to the original design of Tom Tjaarda before the GTS variant adulterated its pure lines.

Like most Italian cars, none of the vehicles from the De Tomaso stable in Modena were rust treated but this example has survived with only minor blemishes. Unlike most Longchamps this Series 1 has ALL ORIGINAL PARTS – including the scooter engine sized air compressor. There is every scope to restore this vehicle to the original standard it left the factory in 1978.

With fully restored vehicles now attracting £65,000 plus and the market for pure-blood Italian Classics expected to continue to rise, this project is correctly priced for its unique potential as a unique example of a luxury classic Italian classic with only 300 such vehicles ever built.

Vehicle is an automatic gearbox and has a stainless steel exhaust system worth £1,500. Most recently was advised that the millenium number plate has a £2,000 value. Price of vehicle adjusted accordingly.
