1973' De Tomaso Pantera

This car was among those exported to the U.S. at the time. Bought new in 1973, this Pantera only had two owners, changing hands in 1991. This sophisticated Italian car was repainted that year in its original colours and its 430-horsepower, Ford 351 Cleveland engine was overhauled. Along with this overhaul, the car was refurbished and its brakes and cooling system were repaired. Its wide Campagnolo wheels, rare for this size, add to the car’s head-turning allure. The car is only driven during classic car events and is on exhibition the rest of the time.
During a road test, this Pantera demonstrated perfect driving performance. It is easy to handle despite its 430-horsepower engine, and its behaviour on the road is both demanding and exciting! With stable steering at high speeds, the car seems like its locked on rails. The braking is also very reassuring and the gearbox is sold and shows no snags when changing gears. In all, this Italian-American classic is uncompromising. The decibels pumping out of its stainless steel exhaust fill the air with a powerful and virile symphony that is sure to excite lovers of GTs.
