February 1952. The established car brand Chrysler brings a luxury body onto the market under the name Desoto Firedome Eight. The sound that the HEMI V8 beguilingly lets everyone know that something unusual is rolling down the street here also fits in with the advent of rock'n'roll this year. Finely decorated with lots of chrome, the Desoto pushes itself with its semi-automatic gearbox as if by itself. Before the Desoto came to the EU, he spent his life in Arizona. The license plates are still available. Also a lot of documents and even the original invoice from 1952. The V8 HEMI, a novelty at the time, was extensively restored in Arizona and runs very smoothly. In addition, the rear axle was overhauled and so was the braking system. Inside are the typical "come over darling" seats. They were reupholstered by a saddler and the headliner re-covered. There are also some spare parts included. All modifications were done for the TÜV. A data sheet from TÜV Süd is available. The Desoto has Dutch papers. If you have any questions or for more pictures, please write at any time.
