1954' DKW F91 Sonderklasse Karmann

This beautiful car for the true Auto Union connoisseur : A very rare DKW Type F91 Sonderklasse Karmann Kabriolet from 1954 handbuilt at Karmann Osnabrück. Car is in fabulous state and condition. These models are remarkable for its reliability and rarity and for the lovely design as well. Registered In Lisbon Portugal as this F91 Karmann was delivered on the 8th of May 1954 new via Lisbon Auto Union agent with numberplates FB-20-53 to its first owner, Mr. Baptista Co Elho, high court lawyer living on G.Alexandre Herculano 43 Lisbon in spring 1954. This F91 is possible one of just a few to have survived. A matching number example. Finished in Tannengrün, the interior has been refurbished to a high standard using tan/cognac leather in the original colour specification, really lovely and tasteful interior. Technically, this DKW is in a very good condition. Equipped with a reconditioned engine, this 3 cylinder delivers a little more over 40 hp. Fitted with a synchro gearbox on 2,3 and 4th gear. A set of original chrome hubcaps, spare wheel in the trunk with the original jack and tools. Inside a beautiful original elfenbein steering wheel. Dashboard is like the first serie wood one with speaker in the middle. New roof, roofbag and full tonneau cover all from first class 'double duck' canvas in black. All instruments are all in perfect working order, including a nice working Grundig radio with central placed antenna Hirschmann. The car has been intensively overhauled some years ago. Every year some 1000 km with sunshine are driven from that moment and engine is very relaible. New exhaust, tyres, and brakesystem. Many invoices present also from earlier times, all is very well documented. The car is currently registered in Holland and Portugal and a perfect entry for any rally, classic car event or Concours d'Elegance around the world.
