Seller's comments about 1977' Ferrari 308 Gtb Vetroresina
Introduced in 1975, this is the Ferrari 308 GTB, designed by Pininfarina and built by Scaglietti. It had a modern design and the detail that marked this production was the fiberglass body construction material – or “Vetroresina” in Italian. It was the first production Ferrari to be built with a body made of lightweight composite material. Only 712 examples in this configuration were produced.
Weighing in at just 1,100kg, this Ferrari is far more agile than you'd expect from a car of this era, with a fun-to-drive feel and power smoothly distributed through its 255hp V8.
This unit has undergone a complete restoration, certified by Ferrari and is in an impeccable condition both aesthetically and mechanically.
