Records show that the vehicle was ordered on 29th January 1987 by UK importer Maranello Concessionaires Ltd for their dealer Emblem Sports Cars of Blandford (latterly Nigel Mansell Sports Cars) and supplied to a retired gentleman from Invergordon, Ross Shire.Factory specification as indicated on the Maranello Concessionaires Archive includes Nero Ferrari 1240, Beige VW4208 hide interior with Nero VM8500 dashboard, headliner and rear window surround, Nero carpets, air conditioning and painted rear aerofoil. Being a 1989 model the car was also supplied from factory with the desirable option of ABS.Sympathetically restored including a repaint in its original colour of Ferrari Nero (black). The vehicle had an engine out service including extensive detailing and refinishing of the engine and engine bay. The suspension was also completely overhauled. There are invoices on file totalling many thousands of pounds from leading Ferrari specialist Foskers. The results of all of this work of course speak for themselves.A very striking example in a very rare and highly desirable colour combination.
