Seller's comments about 1979' Fiat 124 Spider
Here at JLC, we have just completed the restoration of this beautiful Italian sports car presented in Azuro Blue with biscuit trim, carpets and roof.
Originally registered in San Diego in 1979, she benefitted from the Californian climate and was imported in 1990 in rust free condition.
More recently she has had a cosmetic restoration including a full re-spray and new chrome, as well as a wealth of mechanical work including a new water pump and a full service including filters, plugs and fluid change.
Both exterior and interior are in lovely condition, with all panels fitting perfectly.
Mechanically she is perfect and the 2litre engine runs faultlessly.
She has a complete history file covering all the work carried out including servicing and parts dating back to 1979.
These are wonderful cars (as recently raved about by Matt Le Blanc on Top Gear). The availability of the ‘modern’ Fiat Spider ensures this classic will appreciate quickly.
