1966' Fiat 500

This is Dolly my 1966 Fiat 500D RHD

I bought this beautiful car from a fellow Fiat enthusiast in 2008. The car has had 3 former keepers one of which was a lady who owned it from new and the 2nd was the garage who bought it from her to do a full restore. Obviously the guy I bought it from was the aforementioned enthusiast.
I have an extensive folder with pics and lots of documentation inc recipts etc. which will be included with the car.

One thing that lets any classic Fiat 500 down is the vastly underpowered engines they have that could barly pull the skin off a rice pudding and suffer badly from the old non-syncronous crash gearbox which was an art in its self to use.
Dolly has had her engine replaced by a newer fully reconditioned 650 engine and gearbox so it can now keep up with todays demands.
The engine was bought by myself from a well known Fiat 500 specialist in London who imported these engines direct from Italy. I opted for his top spec one at great expense which looks super nice and has been enhanced further with a reccomended electronic ignition.
Dont worry it comes with the original engine too if you were wanting to revert it back to original which had also been restored but god knows why anyone would want too TBH.

With Dolly being a RHD car it is a lot easier to adapt to than the mostly LHD versions out there and It also makes it more practical for UK roads. I have only driven her during summer and with that it has always been dry miles.
I would advise any potential buyer to come view the car in person and have a test drive as she is full of character and fun. Dolly turns heads wherever she goes and is the center of attention where ever you park.
I will genuinely miss Dolly when she goes but due to the fact I have another classic car and 2 motorbikes she is just not getting what she deserves, loving attention from the public.
The car is currently stored and has not been out this year as of this advert, so serious enquiries only as I will have to arrange to get it ready and prepared should anyone want to view.
