Seller's comments about 1970' Fiat 500
Tiny Car Company are pleased to offer for sale this rare UK right hand drive Fiat 500F project car with the desirable and iconic round speedo.
This is a complete car but does require full restoration. These little Fiats make for a great restoration project as every part and panel are available in the UK and the parts are very affordable. These are very simple little cars which makes them a superb project.
The worst of the car is the door bottoms and rain gutters which are full of filler. The car looks to have originally been blue before it was painted silver. The car will come with the correct 500F steering wheel, 499cc engine and non synchronised gearbox.
The LUI / LUIGI private plate comes with the car and we have been told this has some value, I do not know much about this but from my research this can be sold on once the car has been restored as an MOT is required to transfer the plate.
We were originally planning on restoring this car ourselves but with several customer restorations on the go and more in the pipeline, we have decided to let a few of our own projects go to free up some space. We have another RHD Fiat 500 project that we will also be listing that we have stripped and had sand blasted and if you are looking for a road ready 500, we usually have a few available in LHD and RHD.
Viewing is recommended and the car can be viewed at our showroom in Chelmsford. Delivery is available.
