Gateway Classic Cars Houston Showroom is pleased to present this bright red 1932 Ford Roadster replica. Custom built with a Westcott body complete with rumble seat this peppy Ford roadster is a Ford lovers dream. The drivetrain consists of a potent Ford 351 which is topped by a Holley 4BBL carb and aluminum intake and features a Mallory distributor for sure-fire ignition. Cast iron exhaust manifolds feed into the Flowmaster-equipped dual exhaust system which has polished stainless megaphone tips. A Ford C4 3-speed automatic transmission sends power to the Ford rear end. Suspension is courtesy of QA1 adjustable coilover shocks up front and leaf springs in back. A Mustang II steering rack provides for good steering feel and fresh radial tires at all 4 corners provide sure handling and ride comfort. While the body and rear fenders are fiberglass the front fenders hood grill surround and running boards are steel and the paintwork on all is very nicely done. Inside the interior looks practically unused with good black carpet and black synthetic leather seating with red accent stitching to match the red body. The rumble seat is also equipped with the same synthetic leather enhancing the presentation. Interior passengers will appreciate the racing-inspired seat belts and the cold-blowing A/C. The black canvas top is fully removable for those days that top-down (in this case top off) motoring is desired. The Sony head unit pumps out the tunes via the Pioneer speakers. Drivers will enjoy the adjustability that the tilt steering column provides along with the easy-to-read Stewart Warner gauges. Nab this vintage street rod and toss the kids or grandkids in the rumble seat for a fun tool-around in the neighborhood!
