Seller's comments about 1949' Ford

This 1949 Ford Tudor sedan has an iconic style, flathead V8 power, and a terrific price. It makes for a great car that you can enjoy today and allows your budget to personalize it for the distinction you really want down the road. This Ford is all about being a driver right now. The bright red paint looks good cruising in between the stoplights, but the overall finish wont make you worry about every pebble on the road. All the right brightwork pieces are in place, too, like the wraparound bumpers, distinct hood ornament, classic wheel covers, and bullet nose grille that makes this an icon. The value price on this one is all about leaving room in your budget for any restoration and/or upgrades you want to do to the body, finish, etc. But from day one this has the clean and sleek lines of a classic shoebox Ford. It even has cool cruiser pieces like dual spotlights, a windshield sunshade, rear fender skirts, and bright dual exhaust tips. The interior continues the period-correct look. The gray cloth on both rows has a comfortable feel, and the door panels were done to match. Ewe like the Tudor because you get the two-door style but plenty of sedan back seat legroom. It makes for a nice cruiser to bring along others. And even when youre just going solo the clean dash and classic steering wheel give you the right vintage fun vibes. Under the hood is a stock and honest presentation of the classic Flathead V8. This 239 cubic-inch unit may look quite authentic, but you can also see proper maintenance items, including a newer battery. So it fires up eagerly like a classic thats ready to hit the road. Another reason why we like this one for a driver is because of the way it feels going down the road. The column-shifted three-speed manual has a nice feel, the dual exhaust has a dignified hum, and the modern touring tires make for a better cruiser while still feeling vintage. This is a great classic Ford that has the kind of potential to be anything from your favorite shadetree tinkering toy to a nice base for a full hot rod build. Thats what happens when an icon is so affordable. Call today!!!
