1978' Ford Capri

For sale is my Ford Capri 3. 0S in Stratos Silver (non-sunroof version) exactly the same as the tv show the Professionals

125k Miles with some history going back to the 90s,

This car has been restored in the past and just before I purchased it was subject to an underside restoration as can be seen in the pics below, also at this time the seats were refurbished. The engine has hardened valve seats fitted to the heads, brand new Webber carb, stainless exhaust, 7” RS Alloys, all underside parts renewed or refurbished.

I have recently carried out the following

New oil & filter change
New coolant and thermostat changed
New exhaust gaskets changed
New Iridium spark plugs
New fuel cap
New gearstick Spector bush
New clutch, brake & accelerator rubbers
New Brake fluid change

This is a great looking car that’s ready to use and enjoy, there is some minor age related blemishes on the bodywork, no cracks on the dash, door cards are perfect condition, original parcel shelf in excellent condition with no holes or cracks. Original radio, alloys in excellent condition and tyres have plenty of tread. Just fitted an original rear spoiler after removing the Zakspeed spoiler which has left some scratches/ marks which Iv polished out the best I could but doesn’t spoil look of this car

Car drives straight and nice & smooth and the sound it produces is truly lovely which puts a smile on your face. Gearbox is nice and smooth, no whining from diff

If you want a 3. 0S that you can just use and jump in, go for a drive and enjoy, this is the one. Comes with small air filter & rear seat belts if you require to fit them
