Seller's comments about 1979' Ford Capri

I purchased this car from the last owner , who enjoyed the car for 40 years . A desirable early 2. 0S in a rare colour . It was intially his wifes car and was used regularly as their daily driver until life changed and the car was parked in their garage . It then spent 25 years, untouched in dry storage until 2019.The car then benefitted from a full restoration 6 years ago, which included internal retrim with new carpets , a high quality bare metal , engine out , repaint in its original livery of Midnight Blue , as well as a full engine rebuild with unleaded conversion. He tells me he spent £36, 000 in total on the work .. He also mentioned to me that other than new rear arches, no other welding was required ..The mileage is genuine which is supported by documentation and has been driven and enjoyed recently . The underside still retains its underseal, and the vulnerable areas were all waxoyled after the restoration .
