Seller's comments about 1984' Ford Capri

Advertising on behalf of a customer this superb Capri 2. 0 Laser. This one has 2 owners and only covered 30, 000 miles. The first owner kept the car from new till 2022. Our customer bought it in 2022 and has had it since. We have the current V5, original V5 with the 1st owners details, original handbook and service book with 5 stamps in it. There are various receipts for work done and old MOTs for its early years. We have the original order form for the car. It appear the car was stored from 92 till 2022 when the current owner got it. At that point it had covered 26000 miles and a full recommission was carried out. He has then covered a further 4000 miles in it. The car drives as it should for such a low mileage car and is in very good original order.Body - The car is superb underneath and has never been welded or patched. No signs of any rust on the underside. Looks like all original panels as far as we can see. paintwork also looks very original. There are a few minor marks from storage and a couple of very minor bubbles on osf wing edge. It would be an easy fix but its such an original car that personally Id leave it as it is.Mechanics - Car starts runs and drives exactly as it should. Engine is quiet , consistent with its mileage. 5 speed gearbox, clutch and brakes are all good. Everything works as it should including the heater on both speeds and sunroof both ways , and is not stiff to operate.Interior - Again all as it left the factory and in very good order. No rips or tears. Dash is uncracked and uncut. Car still has its original radio and working electric aerial. All guages, switches work as they should. Lovely car inside.Wheels - Original 5 Alloys. Spare is unused and still has the original Grand Prix S fitted. The others tyres were replaced recently, as the originals were too old. The owner has retained these.This is a lovely old original car. Im sure you will see shinier , restored examples at shows, but they are only original once as they say. If originality is your thing this is well worth a look.You are welcome to come and see the car.
