1969' Ford Cortina

We are proud to present this beautiful example of a MKII Ford Cortina. This car is incredibly straight and appears to have never been welded. It has lived in South Africa for most of its life where it has been in a dry climate and clearly stored in a garage due to its condition. The car is now UK registered and the V5 is available.
This car has very suitable upgrades to make it a more drivable car in todays world and on the track if you dare; it has a racing carburettor, an equal length header straight through exhaust and a few more tasteful modifications to the engine increasing compression and in turn power, Plenty! It has been fitted with a more modern 5 speed gearbox which handles the increase in power brilliantly and changes just as smoothly as the original Cortina box. The wheels have been changed for original Maranello 13" wheels giving the car a period correct look but modernising it with the lighter wheels, it has practically brand new Continental tyres on all four corners.
Cosmetically the car is great, the paint is probably an 8/ 10 with indications of a bit of work done here and there but overall very good. The chrome doesn't have any serious marks or dents but isn't perfect, in an ideal world they would be replaced. The interior is immaculate.
