Seller's comments about 1970' Ford Cortina
Ford Cortina 1. 6DL MK2
This vehicle has not been on the road for many years, stood in a barn for around 30 years.
I purchased it around three years ago with the intention of building a Historic track car, three years later and all it has done is collect dust. I have now decided to sell it as I have since then purchased a race ready Mk1 Cortina.
From what I can make out it is still mainly original paint, apart from the obvious repaired areas. The bumpers and chrome trim are also in great condition for their age.
Under the bonnet it is in great shape, very rare to find them like this. In the boot arear there have been some repairs, nothing too mayor though.
Interior is good for its age, worst part is the carpet. Quite rare for the rear-view mirror and interior light to still be intact, this says something.
It was driven into storage three years ago, but not been started since. The exhaust has since fallen apart as well. Being sold as a non-runner just to save any confusion.
