If youre in the market for a cool custom street rod that is a real representation of a California cruiser, youve found it! With custom multi-color paint, lots of metal flake, and even gold leaf this 1951 Ford Custom Coupe hits the mark. With Wet & Wild on the fenders in gold leaf this classic car has an identity all its own! The show-stopper is the paint job, and it is nicely paired with Cragar SS wheels and white wall radial tires. The interior is simple and clean, as to not distract from the paint. A black vinyl bench seat is comfortable and easily fits three adults. Load all your friends in this cruiser and hit the town in style. Under the hood is the 239 CID Flathead V8 with Offenhauser intake, Offenhauser heads, dual 1-barrel carburetors, and upgraded ignition with ACCEL plug wires. The engine has a nice rumble through dual exhaust and is exactly what hot-rodders want to see under the hood of a shoebox ford. The transmission is a 3-speed manual with overdrive, great for cruising and keeping up with that old school cruiser vibe this car has going for it. It also comes with fender skirts, and a new fuel tank. There is nothing wrong with the current fuel tank, but the owner was going to replace it just to be safe since it is 70+ years old. This cruiser needs nothing but a proud new owner. It is ready to hit the shows and cruises! This vehicle is available to view by appointment only. Please call the office to make an appointment.
