1953' Ford Customline

Gorgeous 1953 Ford Customline 2 door  sedan.  Flathead V8,  3 speed w/overdrive,  dual exhausts, glass pack mufflers,  front disc brakes (power assisted) with dual master cylinder, and heater/defrost. Navy blue with external visor,  fender skirts, moon hubcaps,  radial ww's, dual spotlights (fake, but very cool).  Custom painted navy blue dash, window frames, and door sills to match the exterior.  Completely re-done interior  with original style materials (seats,  door panels, headliner and rear shelf) and new carpet.  Only 200 miles since $500 major service - oil, lube, filter,  plugs, points,  condenser, coil, plug wires and distributor cap.  Naturally. clock and radio don't work,  but do light  up with dash lights.  Owned for 7 years.  Driven weekly all summer and garaged in winter.  This is a beautiful drive anywhere classic.  Just bought the car of my childhood dreams,  a 1954 Mercury Monterey Hardtop and don't have room for both.
