1980' Ford Escort 1600 Sport

Escort 1600 Sport Rolling Shell which is fully UK registered. We have the V5 here which states Escort 1600 Sport. The shell is solid and comes with a lot of new bits attached.
Body - Genuine 1600 Sport which was imported by another importer a few years back. Similar strengthening to our Rs models. Shell is solid and has had a big tunnel added. Panhard rod set up also on the rear end. Good original floors, sills, arches, inner wings, pillars. Arch lips have been trimmed for bigger wheels. Doors are really good as is the bootlid. It has a slide back sunroof which wont be everyones cup of tea, but theres nothing wrong with a bit sideways sunshine. Paintwork is tidy and perfectly useable. Bonnet has a scoop on it which is not so nice. Sport quarter bumpers fitted, front spoiler, aftermarket headlights. Rear parcel shelf panel has been cut but new panel included. Decent solid old shell.
Mechanics - The owner has spent a few quid on this very recently. I hope his wife doesnt check his bank statement!!. New steering rack, polybushes, track control arms, struts, vented discs, new uprated calipers. Set of new bilstein rear shocks with it. See pictures for all the parts that come with it. Steering column and surround, half cage, suzuki swift fishnet recaros, standard pedal box, atlas axle case, Rear disc conversion on current Sa axle, lowering blocks, but fitted incorrectly, Grille, glovebox, 5th wheel spare, SA tank and mounting brackets, aftermarket steering wheel, alloy radiator and fan,

The main thing you will need for this project is an engine and gearbox but its quite a good starting point for a project as already had a fair bit spent on parts.
