1948' Ford F1 Pickup

Beautiful 1948 Ford F1 pickup truck. "A Sleeper"
Imported in December 2015 from California.
A very nice condition, clean, rust free and straight truck. Restored approx 4 yrs ago.
Metallic grey front and rear fenders and burgundy body.
Lovely oak rear bed floor.
Very nice bright and straight chrome work.
16" steel wheels with lovely Ford chrome hubcaps and recent Coker white wall tyres which are like new. Also matching spare wheel mounted correctly under rear body.
Interior is beautiful and mostly original with lovely two-tone re-trimmed bench seat in silver and burgundy. Two seat lap belts fitted.
Grant steering wheel and mounting boss.
Hard to believe this truck is 70 years old next year. !!!!!!!!!
Full complement of Autometer Gauges and tachometer.
Engine - Ford 302 cu (5 litre) small block from a 69 Torino, 260BHP and very healthy, strong and smooth, fitted with 4 barrel 4100 Autolite Carb - new diaphragms and gaskets fitted. Freshly serviced, new oil and filter, plugs, points etc. New fuel filter and 3" Elderbrock air filter unit. New PCV Valve fitted.
Thermostatically controlled electric fan and recored radiator. Fresh coolant.
Flowmaster twin exhaust with rear 2.5" stainless rear pipes, sounds lovely and throaty.
Transmission - Freshly rebuilt Ford C4 3 speed auto transmission with Lokar stick shifter, lovely and smooth with positive shifts. Fresh oil and filter.
Axle - Ford 8.8" with new drive shaft and new grease-able joints , fresh oil.
Summit racing front vented disc brake conversion kit with new matching power booster and master cylinder.
All under neath is lovely and dry, no oil or water leaks etc.
Flaming River Rack and pinion power steering kit fitted.
Vintage air aftermarket A/C air conditioning kit fitted, ice cold and de-mist's cab lovely.
New painless Complete wiring harness. 12 volt. With new fuse block etc.
Hidden CD radio in glove box, speakers in kick panels.
Every thing works as it should and it is a lovely vintage truck that will easily leave modern traffic behind and stop with it !!! (and show boy racers a clean pair of heels !)
Has a rear drawbar and electrics fitted.
Ready for Shows and cruising, all she needs is petrol and polish !
Enjoy as she is in Sleeper style - original looking with a muscle car heart, or fit a set of nice Polished a Torque thrust alloys for that Hot-Rodded look.
