This 1951 Ford F-4 COE Sleeper is a full custom creation that has a unique presentation, upgraded comforts, and big block V8 power. And more than just looking like an aged big rig, it really has some true long-haul driver qualities, right down to the sleeper cab. People are going to marvel at an F-4 COE (Cab Over Engine). It all starts with the patina. This is a more recent build with only 12 miles on the odometer, but that doesnt mean it doesnt have history. Sometimes people will make age a finish to look like it has been going to work for decades, but they didnt make up the signs on the doors. They are authentic, and you can still find the successor business in Marietta, Georgia today. So the classic lettering is now cleared in to preserved for many years to come. While the cab is a terrific classic, the full build is very custom. Its built on a GMC 1-ton truck chassis for modern strength. It allows for custom pieces to be installed, like the attached sleeper cab with built-in cargo doors. The custom truck bed is a nice touch with classic Chevy rounded fenders. There are even practical features, like clear/bright upgraded headlights, Line X liner paint protecting the bed, large side mirrors, and a trailer hitch on the rear. And it keeps a true big rig style with 8-lug Alcoa-style wheels with duallys in the rear. The interior keeps hints of vintage and patina style, but the full setup also adds plenty of comfort. Thats why you have a set of modern leather bucket seats up front, and yours even power adjusts to the ideal position. In fact, its set up to be a solid driver with a tilt steering column and a full set of upgraded gauges. Theres an AM/FM/CD stereo that has a modern USB input and Bluetooth. And the sleeper in the back makes the whole cab both spacious and useful. Back in the day, a Ford like this was considered to be lucky if you got flathead V8 power. But that wont do in a custom like this. Instead, it has a 454 cubic-inch V8 that was originally built for motorhome duty. It has been upgraded with an Edelbrock AVS2 four-barrel carburetor, new belts, new hoses, and a new radiator with electric fan. So its far more torque and better cooling than you even got in the 1950s. The TH400 three-speed automatic transmission is a stout but smooth unit that has new features like the pan gasket, fluid, and filter. Power steering, power brakes, and front discs are all part of a thoughtful package that makes this cool custom truly useful. So if youre looking to eat away miles and turn a ton of heads, you know you cant miss this Ford. Call today!!!
