For sale in our Tampa showroom is a simply gorgeous 1957 Ford Fairlane 500. This 57' Ford for sale went through an extensive frame-on restoration just 1,590 miles ago. It's easy to see why the 57' Fords outsold Chevrolet for the first time since 1935! This Fairlane 500, was the top of the line model for that year. Being just a two-family owned car, this car is loaded with history, and has been meticulously taken care of! This numbers matching beauty came from the factory with the epic 292 cubic inch Y-block V8. Y-block V8s superseded the Ford flathead V8, built with reliability and longevity in mind. Simply put, they're hard to kill! It's no different with this 1957 Ford Fairlane 500 hardtop for sale, completely rebuilt with extra goodies, such as: Mild performance cam, Edelbrock carburetor, .030 over pistons, tube headers, and dual exhaust. The rumble of the dual glasspack exhaust throws you back to the 50s, with a rap that will throw a smile on your face! The mighty small block V8 is backed by a Ford-o-matic automatic transmission, which makes it an easy driver for drivers of any skill level. With a Ford 9" rear end, the owner spared at no expense. It was built to cruise for thousands upon thousands of miles. The exterior is fresh off of a full restoration, with a beautiful coat of Dark Highland Green Metallic (The same color as the famous Bullitt Mustang) and Wimbledon White (The same color used on Carroll Shelby's infamous road racing GT350 Mustangs). The color has a vintage vibe, but gives you a look that you're not likely to see on any other Ford at the show! To go along with the classic 50s theme, you'll find it holding to the road via wide whitewall radial tires wrapped around chrome smoothie steel wheels with baby moon hubcaps. The owner even went as far as to have all of the trim professionally polished, before reassembling the car. Both the front and rear bumpers were completely rechromed, complimented by the cool and custom chromed bar-style front grille and stainless dual exhaust tips at the rear. Even little things were looked at, including new glass all the way around, outside of the original windshield. The interior was fully redone, to match the exterior. With white vinyl bench seats with cloth inserts, this Ford can comfortably seat you and 5 of your buddies. The restoration went as far as adding gold carbon fiber door inserts, to match the classic exterior golden anodized aluminum inserts that the 1957 Fords are so well known for! The dash looks original, with a set of custom gauges added, to give this 57' a real restomod and hot rod feel! This 1957 Fairlane 500 for sale has been upgraded with various modern upgrades, including: 12V conversion, alternator conversion, R134 air conditioning, complete EZ wiring harness, electric wipers, aftermarket stereo system with 3mm hook-up, and 4-wheel disc brakes. With these things added, this 57' Ford Fairlane for sale is a slight restomod, ready for cruising to the next show in your area!
