This outstanding example is testimony to the gentleman who has been the custodian of this stunning Mustang for the last sixteen years. A lifelong passion for Mustangs led him to this car advertised for sale in Ohio. Having been thoroughly restored by its owner, James Moline, in the States. This was precisely the correct, highly specified car our client wanted. Funds were immediately sent and the Mustang you see here today duly arrived in all its glory. The Mustang has a Marti report. This is similar to a birth certificate for a car showing who, where, and what the specifications were when it was sold back in 1967. The Mustang was sold by Johnny Bolton Ford, Orlando, Florida, circa 11th January 1967. Unfortunately, the dealership was only open from 1966 until 1975 after the untimely death of Johnny Bolton, who crashed in his P51 Mustang aircraft named Hi Honey in Texas on his way back to Florida in a bad thunderstorm. Boltons were not only Ford but also sold Shelby Mustangs and Cobras at this time. So this Mustang started life in enviable surroundings. As the report states, It was built in Wimbledon white body colour with a red standard interior. During the restoration a similar colour was used with the added red stripes painted within the clear coat, giving a stunning finish. The car was built with an Automatic C4 Transmission, Power Steering, Air conditioning, front Power Disc Brakes, Courtesy light group and tinted windows. What a huge spec list for 1967. All these extras are still present. However, all the mechanical parts have been restored and upgraded since. As you can see the interior is in superb condition. All carpets , headlining, seat covers , door cards, and dashboards etc have all been renewed , when being restored. A centre console has also been added. The interior has been upgraded with the s code period correct chrome interior inserts. Please note that the original steering wheel is still in use. Sitting in this cockpit bounces the driver straight back to the 1960s. Over the last sixteen years, this Mustang has won several car shows and been runner up in major Mustang shows throughout his ownership. We have a selection of his cups and trophies with the car. On arriving to purchase this car, the garage door opened and the whole car was surrounded by Mustang memorabilia from the clients previous Mustangs and also this from this cars history. A whirling noise of a dehumidifier constantly purring in the corner and a shelf full of various polishes and cleaning materials adorned his Mustang sanctuary. Have no doubt this Mustang has been treated like one of the family for the last sixteen years and the only reason for sale was the time has come to let her go, so someone else can enjoy her. As one can imagine, the drive of this Mustang is as good as it looks. These quality Fastbacks, especially of this year 67, are getting harder to find in this condition and with a known recent history.
