Seller's comments about 1973' Ford Mustang

Heres your chance to get your hands on the end of an era. The 1973 Ford Mustang was the last year for its generation, and they didnt come any lower, wider, or longer. So when you can get it all on a V8-powerd drop-top with a true vintage style, it makes for an awesome way to enjoy classic car distinction. The factory Medium Yellow Gold has a great 1970s vibe that keeps this feeling like a cool classic. And since the paint was updated later in life, it also has the right kind of deep luster you want on a sunshine-friendly convertible. And the 73 cars even gave you a well-coordinated look with options like the color-matched front bumper and sport mirrors. We also like this golden paint because it gives you a good backdrop for all the black accents. This has a Mach 1 kind of style with the full-length hockey stick side stripes and the sporty blackout hood with dual scoops. Plus, everything from the black folding roof to the blackout rear panel give this an almost two-tone style. Good gaps, well-aligned sheetmetal, and complete badging (right down to the pony center caps on the Mag 500 wheels) really shows a nice overall quality. As much as we like the look of this one with the roof in place, it gets even more interesting when you take it down. After all, a ginger tan interior combines with the yellow exterior to deliver a color package that really represents its era. Theres a ton of originality here, but there have also been the right upgrades. For example, the seats now have a comfy cloth insert (always great for wearing shorts on hot days,) and the Mustang emblem in the seatback is reminiscent of the earlier Pony package. There are nice features like a power convertible top, an upgraded AM/FM digital tuner w/cassette, and the Marti Report even tells us this was born a factory A/C car (it will need components and servicing to return the function.) You get high-back front bucket seats, an armrest center console, Cobra-style shifter, and a full gauge package with large speedo and tach. So its a true classic built for driving. Under the hood is Fords mighty 302 cubic-inch V8. We have receipts documenting a long history of nice investments in this pony car. It includes plenty of attention to the motor, including upgrades like an Edelbrock four-barrel carburetor, upgraded intake, and an MSD ignition. Thats why this V8 fires up readily and makes a nice sound out of the dual exhaust. Its a true easy cruiser with features like a three-speed automatic transmission, power steering, and power brakes w/discs up front. This Mustang is nicely documented, including the Marti Report, title documentation, owners manual, service manuals, and maintenance records (including a well-kept handwritten log by a previous owner.) The 1973 Mustang was the end of an era, and this an attractive way salute the legend. Call today!!!
