I am now ready to part with this car, having owned it for about 9 years. I aquired the car, which had undergone a full body strip down in preparation for being re-sprayed (two pack) in its original colour of Bristol Fawn. Not much other work had been carried out and so this gave me a good rolling restoration opportunity.
Between then and now I have replaced, renovated or repaired almost everything on show and out of sight. This includes, complete engine refurbishment,gearbox overhaul,front and rear wheel bearings and brake replacement, quality fitted carpets throughout and reupholstered front seats and door cards etc etc.
I have used the car through the year, avoiding snow, ice, and salt where ever possible......I believe in 'use em or lose em'. We have attended lots and lots of shows where She (Poppy) has always attracted attention, prompting nostalgic memories.......She has won many awards, including several car of show and best in class. Interesting how a car like this can hold its own against exotica.
It's now time to find her another owner who will enjoy working on her and driving her as I have, so that I can find something else to work with.

Any serious prospective buyers may carry out any inspection including underneath as well as being taken for a short run to show how very different they are to drive for those of you venturing into the classic car scene for the first time.
If you are looking for a 'Barn find' or a rolling restoration with the intention of getting it up to the standard of my car over a number of years as I have, well fine, but i expect that you will have to spend several thousand pounds more than I am asking for to get it there. So sensible offers will be considered and in return I will be open and honest and give you every opportunity to examine her and ask questions.
