Seller's comments about 1957' Ford Ranchero

This 1957 Ford Ranchero has V8 power, two-tone paint, and restored style that makes this a bright chrome cruiser. So this is your chance at a very vintage version of the first year Ford ever offered this distinct car/truck. Not only is 57 the first year for the Ranchero, but also its quite distinctive. It was the only year for the single headlight design that had a custom frenched look direct from the factory. This is especially noticeable when seen in a distinct color like Willow Green. This joins the Colonial Cream for a factory-correct two-tone. While this is a sharp-looking color combo, what really makes you take notice is the brightwork. The full-length trim does a great job of providing a district dividing line for the two-tone. And you can see there has been a solid restoration investment here in the way all this shines. Plus, there are cool details, like the distinct redline in the side trim thats matched on the edge of the color-matched wheel. And while the Ranchero gave you a versatile truck bed and tailgate, you get great 1950s-style tailfins, too. The green and white interior has a nice classic look that coordinates well with the exterior. Everything from the wraparound windshield, to the heat/defrost controls, to the artful three-spoke steering wheel give this a very vintage atmosphere. The classic dash looks terrific, and even the classic AM radio and clock are still there for display. They also made sure its a nice place to spend some time with investments in newer fundamentals, like the attractive cloth upholstery and matching door panels. Plus, the added auxiliary gauge trio readouts also make it a taillights better drivers machine. The hood tilts forward for a sporty look, and within it youll find Fords Y-block V8. This was an update later in life, but the bold red block has the kind of classic look that makes it appear like it has been here from day one. And this V8 earns the sporty look of their finned valve covers because it now has an Edelbrock four-barrel carburetor on top. There has been a solid investment in the motor, and you understand that in everything from the tidy appearance to the way it sweetly purrs with quality. This likes to give you a true classic feel going down the road, but features like the three-speed automatic transmission and modern tires make sure its also an easy cruiser. This first-ever Ranchero is a classic with plenty of investment in vintage charm. So if you like a true 1950s V8 machine, call today!
