Seller's comments about 1987' Ford Sierra

We are very excited to offer this well-looked after example of the iconic Sierra RS Cosworth, finished in Diamond White and showing 97, 500 miles from new. The example on offer here has recently undergone near £14, 000 of extensive recommissioning works after being obtained from a large collection in Scotland where the car was stored and rarely used for many years. The major work includes:-Engine completely stripped down and rebuilt at 96, 730 miles-Block machined to 0. 5mm-Brand new Turbo Technics turbo charger -New cam belt-Premium AP STD clutch -WRC style head gasket-4 new Koni adjustable shock absorbers-New springs We are told by the vendor that the body and paintwork has remained original throughout, which presents in a very smart condition, with the only exception being a light cluster of stone chips on the front bumper. The underside and wheel arches are also very clean and neat, with no apparent areas of issue. This Sierra has also retained its original interior which still stands up very tidily and doesn’t show major levels of wear, still fitted with the original stereo too. Following the recent works, it performs and runs exceptionally on the road and pulls really nicely under boost, offering the full thrilling “Cosworth” experience. D739 CBD is accompanied by a host of invoices for previous services and its recent recommissioning, along with the Ford service book featuring all the stamps. It also comes with a valid MOT.
