Seller's comments about 1957' Ford Thunderbird

This 1957 Ford Thunderbird has a terrific presentation of its awesome and correct black and red color combo. So no matter if you are a fan of tailfins or big chrome, youll see a level of detail on this T-Bird that will send your nostalgia into overdrive. Theres arguably nothing more beautiful than Fords personal cruiser in black and chrome. This is a driver-ready vehicle. So the factory-correct Raven Black has a nice gloss to get you noticed at the stoplights, and an overall appearance that makes it easy to hit the road. Fender skirts, turbine-style wheel covers, whitewalls, hood scoop trim, and exhaust routed through the bumpers are all part of the details that let you know the stylists were in charge when the T-Bird was crafted. The trim tag tells us the Flame Red interior is factory-correct, and thats absolutely ideal. After all, the best classics are usually red or black, but when you take the top down, you get to showcase both colors. And the interior has an overall quality appearance that will make you happy to share it with the world. The moment you sit down, you are surrounded by individual style with a machine-turned aluminum panel that flows across the dash and onto both doors. This frames many of the intricate styling touches such as logo embossed side panels and the red/chrome factory steering wheel. We like how this one loves to show off this classic style, right down to the details. This includes the pleated dash, AM radio that still powers on, loop carpeting, and a dash light that greets you when the door opens. There is the addition of R134a air conditioning (it likely just needs a recharge to blow cold again) which is always welcomed in a drop-top cruiser. The larger D-code Thunderbird Special 312 cubic-inch V8 was a nice option in 57. It looks quite correct with the bright red block, pie dish air topper, and iconic Thunderbird logo valve covers from the factory dress-up kit. But as a true cruiser, there are also the right upgrades like a Holley four-barrel carburetor and an aluminum radiator. The torque of the V8 is well paired with the Ford-O-Matic automatic transmission and power steering for an easier boulevard machine. There are details to this car that you may want to update, upgrade, or personalize, like restore the air conditioning or make some investment to get the paint and chrome looking near-perfect. But we already like the way this one puts itself forward. It is one of the most ideal factory-correct color combos around, and its presented in a way that makes sure its stylish while also being an easy to enjoy cruiser.
