1966' Ford Thunderbird

This 1966 Ford Thunderbird received a £100, 000 restoration carried out over a 4 year period (1990's) by a well respected Company based in the North East of England. Such is the quality it would win prizes at any car show. Most of my cars have won best at show year on year, this one hasn't been shown at such events.

The car has been registered and in the UK since 1990 dry stored and run upto temperature on a very regular basis. Electric windows and side vents, electric drivers seat, full leather interior and fantastic original red headlining. (side rear wheel covers not fitted). The works included a new crated engine (exact match to original) and C6 gearbox with bare metal respray in Wimbledon white
which shines like glass.

Having only covered around 5000 miles since the restoration it has been maintained without regards to cost. Recent works to take care of last advisorie on m. o. t. This car drives like a modern car... so smooth. Always attracts a crowd so allow extra time for talks and pictures.

A vast history file including the original invoice for the car $5046. 21 including extras back in 1966.

The car now sits on new US sports wheels and new tyres. The car is taxed insured and on the road with an m. o. t. You will not find a better more useable car than this for sale at any price today in the UK! If you had to only have one car it would be this. The swing away steering column allows easy entry and exit for the driver.... if like me you are little larger than in your teens this is a joy...... if like me you are a little older this makes getting in and out of the car a must!
