The 1950 Turin Motor Show car. Chassis number 421/100/112. This car will be on display in the Cheshire Concours D'Esprit at the Oulton Park Gold Cup meeting on Sunday 30th August.

One of three similar cars built in 1950 for motor show use. This car went to the Turin Motor Show. Sold to its first owner in Italy after the show. Repatriated to the UK in 1976 by Colin Crabbe. Restored by Crossthwaite & Gardiner in the late 70's and displayed for a time in the Midlands Motor Museum.

Later owned by Aston Martin chairman Victor Gauntlett before moving to New Zealand for nearly 20 years in the hands of Bill Clarke who raced the car with great success. Maintained during his ownership by the renowned Auto Restorations and David Silcock of Christchurch.

Bill sold the car in 2008 to its last owner; the late connoisseur and collector Peter Giddings, to join his collection of great race-cars in California.

This Le Mans Rep is in beautiful condition throughout and makes a fabulous dual purpose road / race car that is eligible for many of the world's greatest motoring events. Every serious collection should contain a Le Mans Rep!
