For sale is a unique GMC C10 Stepside Restomod from 1969 - a classic American pickup truck after a professional rebuild, which was offered at the Barrett-Jackson Northeast auction, last four photos. The car combines the timeless style of the late 1960s with modern solutions that improve driving comfort, while maintaining the character of a true American classic. Under the hood there is a Chevrolet Small Block 350 V8 (5.7 l) with a power of approximately 280 HP, mated to a 3-speed TH300 automatic transmission and a GM 10-Bolt rear axle. The car is equipped with power steering and front disc brakes, which significantly improves driving comfort and safety. During the reconstruction, a number of professional body modifications were made. The roof gutters were removed, the cabin line was smoothed, the frame was shortened and a modified Stepside box with widened wheel arches was used. The fuel tank was moved from under the cabin to the cargo bed. The attractive floor of the cargo bed was made of cherry wood by California Customs. The interior was custom-made by KAO Autostyling. Leather and suede upholstery, two individual seats and a dedicated center console are used. The whole thing presents a very high level of workmanship and goes perfectly with the black paint of the body. The car sits on 20-inch front and 22-inch rear rims, which perfectly emphasize its silhouette. The frame and the entire chassis are very well preserved, without signs of corrosion and have been professionally preserved, thanks to which the car looks as good from the bottom as from the outside.
