With its incredible racing pedigree and unmistakable and aggressive looks, the Holden Torana is one of Australia’s most desirable muscle cars. The name “Torana” comes from an aboriginal word meaning “to fly”, highly reflective of these vehicles incredible performance at the time. Driven by legendary racers such as Peter Brock and Bob Morris at Bathurst, these cars were at the pinnacle of performance driving at the time and have become an Australian Icon. This particular example is a 1974 Holden LH Torana SLR 4.2. Presenting in the eye-catching “Barbados Green” with a contrasting black/grey interior, this vehicle was built in Dandenong, Victoria on the 29th of May 1974. The factory owner’s manual still remains with the vehicle, as well as a certificate of authenticity from Holden.
