Legends are pleased to offer a top flight, concourse winning Series 1 4.2 OTS E Type for sale.

Commissioned by the current owner in 2004, the mission objective being to restore the car to a new and technically correct specification. The project was carried out by the talented team of Southern Classics, the process was fully documented and photographed with all receipts filed.

According to the Jaguar Heritage Certificate the car was first delivered to Dr. Robert Melanson of Massachusetts USA in October 1965, the car was repatriated to the UK from Georgia in 2003. This is a matching numbers car, the RHD conversion taking place during the restoration process. Finished in Opalescent Blue with Dark Blue hide and convertible top.

Dynamically the car is properly sorted and compliant translating to a confident and exhilarating driving experience. Upgraded Cooper Craft brakes are one of the few deviations from period spec, the engine was built by Rob Beere Racing which offers both performance and flexibility.
Having covered a maintained 2500 miles since completion the car stands today in resplendent condition with a winning Brooklands Concourse trophy confirming this description. Mechanically and cosmetically this example is as good as it gets and will stand any inspection.
