Jaguar E-type S1 1966 4. 2 Coupe 2+2 Automatic in very good condition
Delivered new in 1966 and owned by the previous owner for over 35 years. This real Jaguar enthusiast has been restored and completely overhauled in the past!
The body was completely restored in the 1990s and still looks beautiful. Obviously some traces of use, but the Opalescent Dark Green paint is beautifully deep in color and beautiful in combination with the chrome. The spoke rims are virtually new!
The interior of this 2+2 coupe has very comfortable and beautiful green leather. Lots of comfort and little to no traces of wear. Always treated with care. The dashboard is made of wood and has the well-known Jaguar meters. A beautiful and above all impressive whole. The original radio is present and is of course included.
The Matching numbers 4. 2 liter engine has a power of 265 hp and is linked to the perfectly shifting automatic gearbox. The engine was overhauled around 2010 and equipped with new bearings, connecting rod bearing, camshaft bearings and a 123 ignition. The automatic transmission was also overhauled around 2010 and therefore drives really smoothly. Smooth, fast and with a very nice sound!
No expense was spared with this Series 1 and that is why there is a really good E-type ready for the enthusiast.
