Seller's comments about 1972' Jaguar E-Type
1972 Jaguar E-Type - Series 3 - V12 - 2+2 - Old English White - Webasto roof and new wire wheels.
The current owner has had the car since 2004 and has had extensive bodywork undertaken including sills, floors etc with photographic records.
The car has only covered around 1000 miles in his ownership and only 8000 miles since 1994 according to the MOT records.
The car comes with a file of historical paperwork back to a sales invoice in 1989. I can see that in the early 1980's the car belonged to a Princess.
It's a bright-looking example and presents and drives well. It's not a concourse car, but it has some nice details. It would look good at any Jaguar meet you took it to this coming season for sure.
Production Certificate - Stainless Exhaust - Webasto Roof and new Wire Wheels.
It's had various new ignition parts recently as you can see from the engine bay photos and starts on the button from cold with no oil smoke or obvious issues. The engine sounds good at all temps, with no slackness or chain rattle that these can exhibit when worn.
A car I'm selling for the owner. Any inspection is welcome.
The car has had some prep work with me, including an oil and filter change, replacement O-Ring on the oil pressure release valve, carb balance, brake fluid change, and new battery. As with any old car, there are always additional items that can be undertaken, please come and see the car to discuss further.
The price of £39, 999 is as you see the car. 'As is'.
