Seller's comments about 1975' Jaguar E-Type

Fully restored Challenger Lightweight E Type Jaguar of Briggs Cunningham's 1963 Le Mans race car.
This 1989 creation was produced by Triple C Challenger of Northampton using a 1975 Jaguar XJ6 4. 2 as a doner car.
The GRP body is 6mm & 8mm thick attached to a galvanised space frame chassis, all running gear is Jaguar. The car was subject to a full restoration during 1999 to 2016.
The engine has been rebored with new pistons, bearings, timing chains, oil pump and new triple DCOE 40 Weber carburettor's.
The radiator has been recored together with blue silicon hoses with stainless steel clamps and four seasons coolant.
Transmission is a 4 speed manual with Laycock De Normanville overdrive that has been overhauled by overdrive repair services in 2016.
Suspension is all Jaguar independent with new adjustable shock absorbers and Ralley design road springs set up by Neil Garner Race Technics.
The wheels are Realm Engineering Dunlop race alloys (5) with re-chromed triple eared spinners and Dunlop SP tyres.
The brakes have been completely replaced with new discs, calipers, copper pipes, master cylinder and servo, both clutch and brakes systems are using silicone fluid.
The interior has Sparco race seats with 5 point racing harnesses, blue suede headlining and aluminium checker plate floors.
Most parts have been remade in polished stainless steel and aluminium.
The boot has been recarpeted in blue carpet and has a space saver spare wheel.
This car must be seen to appreciate the amount of work that has been done.
