Seller's comments about 1963' Jaguar Mark 2

offers for sale this beautiful Jaguar MK2 delivered new by the famous importer Delecroix in Paris on 15 May 1963. A highly desirable configuration, it is equipped with a 220 bhp 3. 8l in-line 6-cylinder engine mated to a 4-speed manual transmission with overdrive, power steering and 4 disc brakes. It also has power steering and 4 disc brakes, and is presented in Amaranth Pearl Purple, although it was originally painted in a burgundy called Opalescent Maroon. When the car was restored, the owner decided to change the colour slightly to match Jaguar's violet hue. With its original beige leather interior, the car is in excellent overall condition. The exterior is very well aligned and the doors close perfectly. Thanks to the presence of Jaguar Heritage, we know that this one is Matching Number and that it left the factory on 8 May 1963. We also know that it has had only three owners since 1970, one of whom owned it for 38 years. In 2022, this Jaguar underwent a major service, including oil and filter changes, replacement of the clutch with master cylinder and receiver, replacement of the shock absorbers, battery, various hoses, treatment of the original upholstery, replacement of the carpets, etc. Trade-in possible on your classic vehicle.
