Launched in 1959 to replace the 2.4 and 3.4 Liter models, which would immediately become known as the Mk I, this is the Jaguar 3.8 Mk II, bearing a strong resemblance to its predecessor, but with a much lighter, more modern appearance. Compared to the brand's previous models, there were many details changes in the finishes and, although the interior was completely redesigned, it remained very luxurious with wood and leather accents in abundance.
As with the larger-engined version of the MK I, the 3.8-litre MK II delivers exceptional performance at the time and was for a long time the fastest production saloon in the world.
An authentic luxury car and a very rare model, which already has power steering and manual gearbox with overdrive. It has been fully restored to original specifications and using branded parts. Winner of the Best National Restoration during the Cascais Classic Motorshow in 2017.
