1964' Jaguar Mk2

This is a rare and unique opportunity to buy what must be the most original Jaguar MK2 in the country. This is a one previous owner car, the mileage is a genuine 19698 and there is documentation and history to support this.

The 2.4 litre engine starts on the button and runs smoothly with good oil pressure and constant temperature. Fitted with the manual overdrive gearbox.

This is a restoration project and to be honest the pictures make the paintwork look better than it is but with the mileage and history it is clearly a project worth doing especially given complete originality of the car.

The desirable registration number 666 OBP has a recent written valuation of £2,000 however given the uniqueness of the car in our view it really should stay on the vehicle.

Fitted with the rare reclining front seats, the car needs a fair bit of welding and cosmetics. The woodwork is poor as is the rear seat, the front seats are sound with no splits to the leather but the leather needs bringing back.

The car rolls freely and the handbrake at least works but the brakes obviously need overhauling.
