Seller's comments about 1965' Jaguar S-TYPE

This Jaguar S-Type 3. 8 was delivered on ** 1 April 1965 to Monsieur Jules Genand in Geneva/ Switzerland. He owned it for many years and it was the showpiece of his collection. Worldwide, only 5, 418 left-hand-drive cars of the 3. 8-litre model were built, most of them exported to the USA. This example is one of the few left-hand-drive Jaguars that were built for the European market at the time. What makes the car particularly special is its colour, “Light Oyster”. Jaguar never officially introduced this Rolls-Royce shade, but it was tested on only a few S-Types and E-Types. The vehicle was restored in Switzerland and has been in the possession of the last owner since October 2017.The previous owner has recently and unexpectedly passed away, meaning this very well-kept, elegant Jaguar can now make a new owner happy.There is an extensive folder containing invoices and supporting documents, a Jaguar Heritage Certificate with matching numbers, and manuals as well as German registration papers.A new battery has just been fitted and some hoses have been replaced.The Jaguar drives and shifts superbly, the overdrive works and everything feels solid and well cared for.Private sale, no guarantee or warranty.
